McMAHON, Maurice
“The Wee Geordie”
Peacefully, at Brantford General Hospital, on Sunday February 2, 2020, of Paris, in his 82nd year.
Born in Birtley England in 1938, Maurice emigrated to Canada in 1969. Maurice was incredibly proud of his 50 years of service with the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local 128. He was also a long-standing member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 29 in Paris.
Beloved husband to Geraldine (nee Boland) for over 55 years; loved dad to Kevin (Catriona), Andy (Paula), Peter (Jamie), Julie MacDonald (Jamie) and Helen Forde (Don); cherished grandpa to Fiona, Callum, Meghan, Dallas, Jordan, Nicole, Dylan, Matt and Jillian; dear brother to Maureen Sproha (John), Terry (the late Linda) and the late Ozzy; son of the late Ozzy and Caroline (Gray).
Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the Wm, Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris, on Friday February 7, 2020 from 7-9 p.m., and Saturday February 8, 2020 from 10-11 a.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the chapel at 11 a.m. Friends are also invited to join with the family after the memorial service at the Royal Canadian Legion (70 William St Paris) for a Memorial Reception.

Suddenly at home, on Sunday March 6, 2016, a lifelong resident of Paris, in his 67th year.
Dennis was a long time employee of Marco Sales. He was active with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 29 Paris. Following his “semi retirement” he enjoyed spending his time traveling in Lakewood and Florida. In his younger years he was active with Paris Minor Ball and Hockey and music.
Beloved partner to Liz Ryan; loved brother to Brian (Pat), and Bev Roswell (Stan “Pete”); dear uncle to Ken & Kevin (Kris) Smith, and Lesley Roswell (friend Paul). Also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Les and Ollie.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 29 (70 William St. Paris) on Saturday March 19, 2016 from 1-4 PM. Remembrances and Eulogies at 2:00 PM. Family Interment Paris Cemetery
