President’s message

Hi everyone,

I hope this newsletter finds you well.

First off, I would like to apologize. I missed reporting our General Meeting on January 17th. last month. For that I am truly sorry. We have put in place a change in procedure so this will not happen again in the future.

Our New Year’s Eve party was a huge success. Thanks to Paris Jewelry and The Arlington for their donation. We had 69 people attend and a great band. So it was a great night. Thanks to Tracy, Helen and all that helped out to make it a success.

January started off with our High Noon golf tournament. It was well attended but was extra challenging as it snowed. Thanks to Jim Young for winning this year’s event.

We had an 8-ball and a 9-ball pool tournament. Thanks to Barry for running the events.

Luncheons and Memorials

There was a Celebration of Life on December 9 at the Branch that was attended by 80 people.

The year kicked off on New Year’s Eve at the Branch. Roast beef on a bun and pasta salads were served. A good time was had by all.

There is a luncheon booked for February 8. Two people are gluten free, so I need to provide for them also. We accommodate everyone.

We provide luncheons for any venue and Celebrations of Life. The cost is $10. Per person which includes HST. The luncheons include, egg, ham and salmon sandwiches, wraps, cheese tray, pickle tray, veggie tray, fruit tray, desserts, coffee, tea, and punch on request. If you or someone you know is looking for a venue for a luncheon, please let me know, email hcbailey1@hotmail.com
