Branch 29 Paris 100th

September Smokehouse

Many, many thanks to all the volunteers for donating their time to help make the Saturday BBQ successful this summer. Sue Bohar’s assistance in coordinating the staffing and running of the BBQ helped immensely in maintaining the smooth operation of this popular event.

Don’t forget September 6th is our Annual Golf Tournament.  Info can be obtained at the branch and on our website parislegion29.ca

September and the Legion 29 is back in full swing as the summer heat starts to slip into the coolness of fall.

Drop by the and join one or more of the many upcoming activities.

The popular Cornhole League is back on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Sue Bohar convenes on Tuesday and Wednesday conveners are David and Susan Brown.

Progressive Euchre is on Wednesday evenings starting sometime in September. Karen Tibbett requests that members use the sign up sheet at the legion to join.

Billiards startup is Thursday night September 4th at 7 p.m.

Ladies Darts is also starting up on Thursday September 4 at 7 p.m.

Jack Kerby and Darren Ayers ask members to drop in to get their football sheets ready for the start of Sunday Football.

Katy Osborne-Howie, our Lottery director, has applied for an elimination draw.  Watch for it coming soon.

Look for the thermometer at the legion showing our  progress as we raise funds aimed at the installation of a lift to our 2nd floor along with the upstairs renos.

Please plan to attend our General Meeting on September 17, 2025. Meeting starts at 7:30, on the main floor at the Legion.

See you at the branch.
